Certified Nerd.

Your grades in college are definitely important. I feel as if everyone would agree with this. I realize it myself, but sometimes take it to the extreme. I consider myself a nerd because I strive for A’s in everything that I do and literally cried over the summer when I received my first B. If I make a 92 I tell myself I should have made a 96. If I make a 96 I wish I would have made a 100. It seems I can never be happy with whatever grade I get even if it meets my exceptionally high standard. I am finishing up my fourth semester at San Jacinto College and am so happy it is finally over with. This last semester has been the most difficult I’ve had since becoming a college student. I had car troubles for two straight months, there were two deaths in the family, my partners in class projects at times literally stood me up when we had dates set to finish projects, I was very ill for about two weeks and I had one professor who was impossible to deal with. I am so thankful this semester is over with and I am looking forward to starting fresh with my upcoming winter mini. Congratulations to everyone for finishing out the Fall 2011 semester!
